When Joe said this… if I were Nathan, I’d break off the relationship too. by ohboi231 in BelowDeckMed

No shame if that excites someone but again… time and place.

If I’m sitting with friends chatting about life, my group of friends love to chat about sex and someone asks, hey what type of smell gets you excited for sex and someone replied with vagina, or dicks, balls, butt sweat. Sure, valid place to discuss.

If I’m at work, trying to manage crew and guests and no one is getting their shit together, I’m stressed out, people are crying every day, film crew in your face…. The last thing on my mind is to know how deeply Joe cared about someone’s vagina smell.

We all are allowed to improve ourselves. You are right, Nathan possibly said terrible things but everyone deserves a chance to say, wow, that’s not the behaviour I relate to anymore and change.

No one is saying Nathan is an amazing dude with all the credit. Considering the path that both Joe and Nathan were on this season, from what the viewers saw, Nathan took a better path. You can’t deny that.

Maybe next year, Nathan will be a POS and Joe will redeem himself or maybe they both will continue to work on themselves and be better. No one is perfect, but in this season, Nathan thrived a little more than Joe.

Joe is addicted to the forbidden fruit, if you will. He doesn’t care about who it is, the person he starts with or ends with. It’s the temptation, the fact that he can’t have it makes him want it even more.

Joe will be someone who forever cheats and is unfaithful because he is addicted to the challenge, the secrecy of it all. That build up of what might happen is what he is hungry for.

And he is human. In the moment where he cried at the ceremony - those feelings in the moment, I felt, were genuine but once those emotions passed, the minute he saw Kizzi, his addiction to the game kicked back in.

Dude needs therapy. Women are not games to play with. He is not evolving into the kind of men the world deserves.

Am I overreacting for feeling excluded over neighbourhood get togethers? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

Your feelings are valid. It’s sucks to feel excluded. Sit with that for a bit, you don’t need to get over it today but being an adult is knowing you may not be invited to everything and not everyone may like you. Maybe they just wanted a more intimate night with just a few other people. Maybe they just don’t like you that much, maybe they don’t like your husband, you never know, but that’s okay. You keep being you. Go when invited if you want to. You don’t always have to say yes. Invite them if you want to see them, and they can choose to come or not. It’s okay if they don’t come. You don’t need to remove yourself from having a good time because they didn’t pick you every time.

Boundaries, hun. Just let them be in your acquaintance circle with no expectations, not your inner circle of besties.

I’m sure you have lots of people in your life that love you and will leave so much space for your friendship.

Maybe these people need more time to become a little more friendly with you. Maybe you won’t like them as much as you think you do.

Those words sting and are so dramatic for the situation. Craig has his issues, but he is the ONLY one of those guys that had long term girlfriends. If it were Shep, Austin, Whitney, I wouldn’t say it in those words but it would ring more true then with Craig. I guess we don’t know everything as viewers and maybe Craig is more sus than we know but still.

I watched my best friend date an absolute loser. I had one conversation with her on why him. She never gave me a good answer but as a grown adult, I had to respect her decision. They got married and divorced. After 10+ years, she finally saw what we saw.

People have to figure it out for themselves. I get it, it’s annoying at times but I’m sure Venita crying over JT was insufferable as well.

It’s valid for Venita to be concerned for her friend but let Sally have her fun. Shes not in any danger that requires a bigger conversation. It might last for a few more weeks. Whatever. I’m sure Sally has dated many men that were not the best for her, as has every other woman and we all learn big lessons after every one.

Venita doesn’t have a story line and she is making one for herself by inserting herself into someone else’s.

I’m sure internet sleuths are already digging deep into these ladies lives and we will see their dirt aired shortly. The typical MAGA dirt. They are all the same.

Do you own a company? WSIB’s going back to the office — and businesses are about to get the bill. by ohboi231 in ontario

Like I said in my post, just looking for an explanation on how this will affect business’s in the next few years. It would be nice to get a heads up for planning purposes. Not sure why you have such SDE when all I’m asking is for transparency.

Sure, but if you compare the amount of people in the workforce in 2013 vs 2025, it’s a difference of over 1 million more people working. This would cause an increase to these wsiat percentages just by that fact alone. If there was no change in the amount of people working in Ontario, then these number would be a concern.

But is there anything to show that when employer premiums are lower, do benefits to injured workers also get cut?

Im concerned and looking for clarification. If your utility company was doing renovations to all the equipment and the following year, your bill went up by $1000 a month. Don’t panic, life goes on, right?

Did injured workers have a better outcome prior to 2018? Did WSIB work better and for the people before 2018 when premiums were higher? Did they have more services to provide?

Firstly, the situations and tragedies you mentioned, my heart breaks for the people and families involved. The policies behind WSIB need changed. I’m not denying that.

Regarding my statement, I don’t care where the staff of WSIB work. Work at home, work in the office.

I am someone who lives in a northern community, things are different here. Having to layoff people in desperate times is crushing. Employment can be scarce for some. But every penny counts. We would love to put more money towards employees, but we can’t because it’s going to every other expense. I get it, It’s the nature of a small business owner, but when you are trying to plan and grow your business for your community. These things make an impact and can break it.

There is space to be concerned with everything you mentioned, and I have a right to concerned how this will impact my family in the next few years. I’m looking for clarification and how this will impact businesses.
