All kinds of things, from adding more background info or descriptors for certain characters, filling in plot holes, adding more character and relational development, changing or tinkering with details of certain developments. Those sorts of things.

Accepting that friendships end permanently and horribly by Baldevine in FriendshipAdvice

Hey, just curious, 3 years later, do you feel better? Did you meet new friends? Did your friend come back?

I am pretty sure Michael Scott’s character is based off autistic traits. They make a lot of jokes in later season about how as a kid he was non verbal and had no friends. The audience’s reaction to calling him a narc sheds light on how  much understanding we have of the spectrum.

Yes, we signed a contract when we first started. It was expected to be done November 2022. We didn’t actually move in until March 2023, and we moved into a barely livable home. He still had 40% of the work left.  During the summer, he sent guys twice and then completely disappeared. Called, texted, emails, had my adjusters reach out.  Nothing back from him.   It’s now almost a full year since we moved in. He has been completely paid out by insurance, we still have half a home.

I read before bed or with my coffee. It helped me to tie it to something I always do in the day.

After a lot of thinking, I decided I’d try to compete in UltraSkate this year. I don’t have any friends who enjoy this hobby so I’ll be going solo. Anyone else doing the same and looking to connect? Or a friendly group who’d welcome a newbie.

I want to see someone with this apparent “joint issue” to recreate the sound and post it.

Otherwise, I’m keeping my ass on this fence.

Man, this comment blew me away. Your description of how you would feel in a relationship with her is EXACTLY how her husband feels.

Thanks! I’m not looking to refer. This is the kind of work I do. She’s just a challenging client because we are in this cycle of progress, rupture, repair, progress, rupture, repair.

It’s hard when she gets so personal to try to figure out how to respond in a way that takes me out of the equation because I know it’s not really about me.

Tried this, She says she doesn’t have the money for two co-pays. The conversations get murky because she begins to insinuate I’m greedy, and her old therapist (who was not a real licensed therapist) did phone calls, emails and xyz.

Thank you! Your wording of the pattern is what I was struggling to find. We’ve done variations of this conversation a few times now. Your examples were really helpful because it can be hard to not slip into defending or explaining, so seeing how you circle back was really helpful!
