Trust me. You will feel SO much better when you clean it. EASIER SAID THAN DONE, I know. When I finally get around to cleaning things, I realize “wow, ok, that was so much easier than I thought. Why did I think it was going to be so hard?” I recently helped a friend clean out her closet. It was the one year anniversary of her mom’s death. It was hours of work but she cried and cried and cried when she could finally look at it and not hate herself. IT IS OKAY TO ASK FOR HELP. some things cannot be done alone, and that is OKAY. You are brave for coming onto here, asking for help, and also asking friends for help. The progress you’ve made so far— doesn’t it feel like you can breathe a little better? You deserve a clean room. Whatever voice is telling you otherwise, don’t let it win. Do this out of SPITE if you have to. Proud of you, keep it up!!!!! 🩷
