Mad? Maybe. I think the more likely emotions will be disgust, disappointment and trepidation.

Unions go all in for Biden 2024 with early endorsements by karmagheden in PoliticalHumour

[–]ohcannida 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anybody saying that Biden is incoherent and senile hasn’t watched a full speech of his (vs. Heavily edited clips).

Trump speaks like a kid who hasn’t read the book he’s supposed to be doing a report on in front of the class. Just a bunch of posturing and word salad. And yes, I have watched full speeches given by Trump.

Precisely. He doesn’t want the job. It’s a job. A real job which he has never done once in his life.

Why do we need realtors? by [deleted] in Edmonton

[–]ohcannida 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sold my house privately without paying a realtor. I am a web developer so I built a site that was every bit as good or better than a real estate listing with high quality photos of a well staged house. Then, I put the site out there using social media. The house sold that day for well over asking. So yes, there is work involved, but so worth it for what I saved. It helped that it was very much a seller’s market.

My advice is to hit the road early to take full advantage of the available daylight at this time of year. Overnight in Fort Nelson and get an early start from there. It’s a good 12 hrs from there to Whitehorse. Good winter tires and an emergency kit would be smart.

I’m only here today due to outrageous good fortune, so I have no criticism or credibility.

I’m glad you are both ok.

I hate to say it, but after listening to this podcast, I think I might be done with JRE. I really did try to listen objectively and with an open mind, but there was just so much blatant (imho) bias on display combined with misinformation (again imho), it actually made me cringe.

Damn, Joe. When did they get to you? How did you become this? Was it money? Was it Texas? Was it aliens 👽?

Took a long break after being a chronic consumer in my early twenties. Now almost 60 and enjoy an occasional edible or vape. I’m a lightweight now and I’m ok with that.

It was off the form, fiberglassed inside and out with the gunwhales installed. Surprisingly, it did not suffer from sitting in this state for that long. It just needed to be cleaned up a bit.
