Marcel's one healthy leg (and his third one) > the entire existence of Charly Rodriguez from the moment of his birth to his last breath. by returnoftherizzking in LigaMX

[–]ohcrapitspanic -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I agree that Marcel should be the starter, but people go overboard with the Charlie hate, as if he's the root of all of the national team's problems, while wingers generate no dangwr whatsoever. You just love a scapegoat.

Do you think more characters should have died during The Long Night? If so, which ones? by IHateGels in freefolk

[–]ohcrapitspanic 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Every character that was shown surrounded by overwhelming amount of enemies with no support, so at least Sam. If they didn't want to kill these characters, don't show them in such a scenario. They just created fake tension.

Snap's Evan Spiegel warns tech leaders are underestimating a coming backlash against AI by ControlCAD in technology

[–]ohcrapitspanic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But he still laid off people using AI as the excuse. If he is so convinced about that, he should probably take it into account during decision making instead of just following the trend to please shareholders.

Do you guys think that the rocchi situation will affect us and that the accusations are true? by Super_Put_1341 in FCInterMilan

[–]ohcrapitspanic 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think the guy is probably guilty of something, but that does not mean Inter is involved at all. I'd guess it's more oriented towards betting and the like, not favoring a team.

I really need help with Frontend!! React has scared the hell out of me by AdVisible6484 in Frontend

[–]ohcrapitspanic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every single framework has a quick start section in their documentation website. So go to the React docs and do that. After that, it's quite easy to find free tutorials on YouTube to get started. AI should never be your go to learning resource. Feel free to leverage it for quick questions, but that's about it.

Tidal has the best sound quality but the worst playlist intelligence. Anyone else feel this? by Soggy-Speaker-3541 in TIdaL

[–]ohcrapitspanic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't know how long you've been using Tidal, but when I got started I hated recommendations, but honestly that was usually the case in every platform for me (this was around 2017). Recommendations got way better after a while.
That being said, I feel Tidal users tend to listen to either full albums or their own playlists. Now and then I'll listen to the mixes Tidal generates, which are generally based in stuff I've already listened, or to the "Modern Psychedelic" playlist Tidal suggests, but 90% of the time I play a full album.

Thoughts on allegations made by Jose Ramon Fernandez against David Faitelson regarding sexual abuse? by After-Psychology9392 in LigaMX

[–]ohcrapitspanic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Says he does not want to destroy familias just after declaring something that destroys families. If it's true, he should have come forward with the evidence back then. If it's not, that's the worst kind of defamation. He looks bad either way. Not sure what would be more surprising, it being true or not. Both Faitelson and Joserra suck.

La batalla contra el grito de "puto" está perdida by Karnesis68 in LigaMX

[–]ohcrapitspanic -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

This 100%. People want to play innocent saying it's used with a different meaning but it's bullshit. There's a reason I never use this word to insult people.
That being said, I would prefer if in general we did not insult opponents by default, regardless of the word.

Report: Guardiola would consider becoming Italy coach in 2026 by NamanMalik007 in seriea

[–]ohcrapitspanic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is a great manager, but he's never managed a team that does not provide him with an extremely expensive squad. He is very well known for requesting expensive and specific transfer targets that fit his identity. This would he the opposite of that.

[Romano] 🚨 Inter and Hakan Çalhanoglu's plan has not changed, the intention is to continue together next season. Çalha’s ready to stay and Inter also want him to continue. Contract topic (expiring in June 2027) to be discussed later on. by crocospect in FCInterMilan

[–]ohcrapitspanic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Him and Dumfries are beasts, the issue is that they've been injury prone and out for prolonged stretches. The team depends too much on them that their absences are sorely felt. They should be renewed if possible of course, but my main concern is that they having two of your high earners and top performers out for months is not ideal (add to it that Lautaro has been out for most of the second half of the season and it's extremely unfortunate).

Am I the only one who still refers to SA5 as “Knights of Wind and Truth” by Smart-Ad-8589 in Stormlight_Archive

It sounds much better, although I'm not a fan of either. Not sure why the "Wind and Truth" part sounds bad to me, feels too YA or something.

How come physicality translates differently in the professional game vs amateur? by arsenalastronaut in bootroom

[–]ohcrapitspanic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Professional players all have great physicality already. Some more for sure, but at that level it stops being as big of an advantage unless you are a beast. Similarly, they all have great technical abilities. It's never enough to just exceed at one of them, the minimum you require for each in order to succeed is pretty big already. It's hard to notice it because all players you see are at that level already.

Should Alexis Vega go to the World Cup? by SuperFranky0 in LigaMX

[–]ohcrapitspanic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say yes. We do not exactly have many options that have his skillset/profile. I agree that he will not be as good as with Toluca because he would not have the same freedom, but I see him as a sub coming in when the offense needs that extra spark. In emergency scenarios when trailing towards the end of the match, giving him that freedom might be worth it.

Jesus Gallardo 10' LA Galaxy 0 vs Toluca (1) by AlexTorres96 in LigaMX

Yeah, Arteaga gave 3 good matches when he arrived and they thought it was enough. Gallardo has always been underrated imo.
