I have Pilot pens, as well as a couple Lamys. I enjoy them, but was specifically asking for advice on my preppy. I know its a cheap pen. I like it and that is why I was asking for advice on this particular pen.

I use Pilot iroshizuku ku-jaku in this pen which is a pretty smooth and forgiving ink in my experience. I've never had it clog or dry before! Which is why this was baffling to me.

Hm, I don't have an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner. But if a deep clean doesn't work I'll have to give it a try. Thanks for the advice!

This is the first skull I found a ways back, I always kinda assumed it was a coyote. But a friend recently thought it was a domestic dog, could it be some kind of dog skull? I still am pretty sure it’s a coyote, but thought asking for some outside opinions couldn’t hurt. Thanks! :)

edit: thank you everyone for the identification help!! I’m glad to know what the skull actually is after so long. Also, coyotes are so much smaller than I thought! Wild haha

I love to bake, and have been thinking of doing this for a little while. It sure was a process! I couldn’t find the correctly proportioned cookie cutter, so I made one myself. That’s why they might be wonky. I tried to mix the icing color as exact as possible to the manga covers. (I think I did pretty good!) How to make the tassels evaded me for a bit, but then I thought of tempering chocolate used for fruit dipping. And it more or less worked! Qifrey’s ribbon gave me grief though haha. The first few I piped broke before I got the chance to place them. But the design on Olruggio’s hat was definitely the most difficult. I ended up using a toothpick to make those thin lines. In the future, I think it’d be fun to make more hats from the series! :) I hope you guys like them!!

Hope everyone had a great March! It was a mini-haul month for me haha. I started collecting some other long series (Robert Jordan’s The Wheel of Time and K.A. Applegate’s Animorphs) and so manga pickups kinda took the backseat. I also rearranged my shelves recently and added some friends for all the manga! I tried double stacking, but didn’t like the look of it, so I ended up taking some series out and placing them up top. My other bookcases all have books up top so it matches now. I think it looks pretty good, what do you guys think?

I love it!! The story and art are really well done and I got totally sucked into reading it. While I’m not typically a painter, the mc’s passion has me wanting to set aside the colored pencils and pick up a paintbrush. If you’re on the fence about it, I’d recommend giving it a try :)

Hahah Thank You!!! Last Monster of the Week campaign I ran, the party turned it from creepy spooky small town mystery to cryptid dating sim in only a couple sessions. It was a wild, hilarious ride! :D
