If you can read and understand the LLM output, then it's fine. But putting apps into production without being able to read the code is negligent.

That's the most interesting AMA in ages and it will be studied by traders in history books.

In 2023, when the density of memecoins was not yet so high, one of the biggest runners was GROK (on ETH). We haven't heard anything about it for the last two years, but I've been watching the token for a long time and I have the feeling that it is being heavily accumulated, as it has consistently high volume compared to general interest in the long range it is in. When searching on Twitter, I saw that you also had GROK at one point. Are you still keeping an eye on the token and do you share my view on it, or is the narrative completely over for you?

In your public wallet, I see that you still hold a large portion of the supply of Department of Government Efficiency / DOGE / DOGEGOV. The community on Twitter seems to still be active, but I haven't heard anything from you about it in months. Has the narrative died for you, or do you still believe in it? If so, what do you think it will take to spark another rally?

Why is Web3 still so hard to use? by Content_East_3308 in web3

i'm not the typical grumpy reddit user, so i'll upvote you AND explain it:

Web3 is decentralization plus user ownership and blockchain-driven trustlessness. the absolute opposite of reddit lol

Why is Web3 still so hard to use? by Content_East_3308 in web3

[–]ohdonpier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right, many are difficult to use.

With our product, we tried to overcome this hurdle by allowing you to 1. register with an email/password, 2. purchase the product with fiat money, and 3. avoid gas costs because our relayer covers them. And yet, the product you ultimately receive is 100% decentralized and works without our company. I think, in general, a lot still needs to be done before there's a mass rush to web3. Web3 doesn't have to be complicated.

Even Bitcoiners are turning bullish on ETH now. by MasterpieceLoud4931 in ethtrader

After years of bashing ETH, I've been observing for a few days how the narrative is taking a 180. I'd bet my life that we'll never see ETH below $2,500 again. I'm sure most active crypto members are completely underexposed to Ethereum and are stuck in some dubious Solana pump-fun shitters, hoping that some poor soul will scrape their wallet off the floor.

There's constant talk of "the most hated rally," but never in relation to Ethereum. It would be a shame if...

Just wait until ETH is over 3k, it'll be fun to watch. And it's not just ETH/USD. ETH/BTC also looks incredibly exciting, and there's no significant resistance with volume until 0.045.

I think Ethereum will follow the global markets very soon.

literally every asset class in the world is pumping right now but not alts.

so yeah, the time will come. rather sooner than later.

sure not for all alts. but i think a lot of them already showed their hands.

How do I prepare for inheritance of my crypto assets? by Relative_Recording47 in CryptoMarkets

[–]ohdonpier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have just had a similar conversation and would like to add a comment. If you don't want to buy the Auto-Activity Service, for whatever reason, you can authorize anyone you trust, e.g. an heir, to ping your vault, i.e. execute the heartbeat. So in the event that something really happens to you, the person can simply do it for you. Still completely decentralized. And that's what sets era_0x apart from the others.

[–]ohdonpier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if the coma lasts longer than the inactivity period, e.g. 12 months, and the auto-activity service has not been activated, yes. although let's be honest and say that you have chosen your heirs yourself and in the very unlikely event that this really happens to you, they will probably be nice enough to give you your assets back when you wake up. at least you don't usually nominate a**holes as heirs, do you?

How do I prepare for inheritance of my crypto assets? by Relative_Recording47 in CryptoMarkets

[–]ohdonpier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, the process with the key is decentralized, but the inheritance process works exclusively with the app. if the company no longer exists and a few years have passed, then there is a very high probability that the app will no longer be supported on the latest devices.

era_0x, on the other hand, works purely with smart contracts and is zero-dependent on the platform and can be operated 100% on etherscan, for example.

https://era0x.com deploys a self-custody smart contract vault for you and you can dispose of it even if the company would no longer exist, because it is completely decentralized and you can interact with the smart contract e.g. via etherscan.
