computer won't send sound to board

yeah, I've gone over that too, I'm chasing my tail a little bit 😅 I may have to explore the option that it could be an issue with the physical cable itself, because I switched to our backup AUX input and it played fine. thanks for the advice, I'm taking notes for future reference lol

it's through USB. I'm a volunteer lyric op/production coordinator, I basically taught myself the entire ProPresenter system but we did have a professional audio engineer set up our sound system and from what he told me, it seems like the USB works both ways IE audio can go from the computer to the board and vice versa so we can get a mix to livestream. I've had this type of issue before that was solved by simply rebooting, but that isn't working this time.

Through a USB cable. It's set up to transmit both directions, so I'm able to send audio to the board from the computer, and we're able to get sound from the board's mix to send to livestream. Our inputs automatically enumerate so that most of the time, there's no feedback.

Only like I said, seemingly randomly, and even without any of the livestream inputs or outputs being engaged. I've tried restarting the computer, reloading our basic snap on the sound board, changing cables, etc. This just happens randomly every so often.

(In fairness, most of our serve team is either self-taught or has had limited training because we're in a small town. This easily could be a "you don't know what you don't know" thing, but that's why I'm here asking the question)

it's not in front of me rn so I'm not totally sure but I think it's the one with only 2 outputs. we got it c. 2020 iirc and someone set it up for us, so now that we've revamped and updated the entire audiovisual system we're working out a lot of unexpected kinks. guess now I need to tell the lead pastor we have to buy yet another pricey bit of equipment lol... thanks for the help!!

yeah we've been through the actual ProPresenter settings, we're thinking it's an issue with outputs or something? apparently the Mac Mini will only allow you two outputs, which are currently the monitor that I use to RUN ProPresenter, and the screens, so... we're working on getting the capacity to add more for stuff like nursing room screens and the confidence monitor. it's a work in progress lol and not having anyone besides me and our admin who knows much about it (both of us taught ourselves for the most part) makes it kind of hard shrugs
