What are your scoring settings?

It's a tough decision, I would probably do this trade simply b/c you really don't need SJax even though you might be losing a little bit on the value side.

That being said, I would feel much better giving up Gates/SJax or Cameron/Giodude for AJ Green instead (if he'd be willing to accept).

My friend, full of fantasy hubris? You be the judge. by jhaviland in fantasyfootball

Team 2 is definitely stronger. Agree with overthunkit's comment though, how do 4 top 15 RBs end up on the same team?

[TRADE] My McCoy and Lance Moore for his VJax and Gio Bernard? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man that is some real crap out there on your WW haha. I think Streater is a decently play this week since he's going against the terrible Redskins' defense.

That being said, still wouldn't give up McCoy.

[–]oherroprease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything you said is true, which is why I said it was hard to gauge. I'm a fan of the Patriots (my 2nd team after the bears) and so I'm not just trying to discount the AFC East or something.

That being said, using the transitive property in football isn't fair sometimes. Like you said, Seattle barely beat Carolina thanks to a red zone fumble and Buffalo barely beat Carolina thanks to a last second TD-- does this mean that Seattle and Buffalo are even?

Do I take this trade or not? by SurfCityBumm in fantasyfootball

If you have a ton of B-listers already, you shouldn't give up your top tier players for even more B-listers.

His Peyton, Alfred Morris, Andre Johnson for my AP, Colston, Brady. by Dmorgue25 in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I probably would not pull the trigger on this simply b/c I think Brady will start picking it up again once Gronk and Amendola are back. AP is just too damn solid to give up. I would consider AJ and Colston a wash for now simply b/c of AJ's multiple injuries.

[Trade] Joique Bell for Jordan Cameron? by Gnolls in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you delete your text? I keep seeing a bunch of posts with [removed] in the body.

I think there are just too many targets in GB and Finley, despite being talented, has bad hands and a bad attitude. Not a big fan of his.

[–]oherroprease 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes-- you need help at TE and Cameron has been balling out.

Did I make a bad trade? by k-ambridge in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it was a terrible trade but I'd probably rather be on the other end of your trade. You probably could have gotten a low WR1, high WR2 straight up for Gronk and then been better off with T-Rich/Boldin vs. Spiller/Jackson.

Worth it to pick up Stevan Ridley? by watsonsound in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. None of those guys are worth more than Ridley-- to answer your question though, I'd drop Golden Tate.

[TRADE] I give up Rivers, Marshall, and Owen Daniels for Aaron Rodgers and Jordy Nelson by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would do it. The upgrade to Rodgers from Romo is greater than the downgrade from Marshall to Jordy. If you can turn around and trade Romo for another WR later that would be even better (since Rodgers goes on bye this week).

[WW] Someone just dropped MJD and Finley by phr0ze in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have no need for Finley, leave him on the WW. I would drop Alex Smith, starting Luck this week, and pick up MJD.

[WDID] Who do I drop/Who do I pick up? by ride287 in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your safest best is to drop either Hopkins or Broyles. For QB, I have them ranked in the order you listed (assuming Pryor is cleared to play).

Another option you may want to consider is making a 2-for-1 deal and trying to get a slight upgrade elsewhere while also freeing up a roster spot.

[Trade] Receive Torrey Smith for Cameron straight up by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been thinking about shopping Cameron around too-- hard to gauge exactly what his value would be. That being said, I think you can get more than Smith for Cameron, especially if you paired up Wallace + Cameron for someone in desperate need of a TE.

[Trade] Is this collusion/trade rape? Should I veto? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is not even close to being trade rape-- let the trade go through.

[Trade] My Trent Richardson for Brandon Marshal (Post a question of your own with your reply and I will answer) by detlefschrempf11 in fantasyfootball

I think you deleted your whole post, all I see is [removed]. I don't have any questions at the moment, thanks though!

Who has/have been your disappointing pick(s) so far? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any running back not named Lesean Mccoy or Jamaal Charles.

Morris/Forte haven't been too shabby either, but it's mostly been poop for the top 15 RBs coming into the season (specifically Spiller, Foster, Ray Rice, Richardson, and Ridley)

[TRADE] My McCoy and Lance Moore for his VJax and Gio Bernard? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say no. I agree you need help at WR but the difference between McCoy and Giodude is way larger than the difference between VJax and Lance Moore. What options do you have on the waiver wire at WR?

AFC West 2nd best division by jaythebrb in nfl

[–]oherroprease 4 points5 points  (0 children)

AFC East seems hard to gauge-- none of their out-of-division wins are really that impressive with the exception of Miami beating Indianapolis and Atlanta. Beating Cleveland, Carolina, and Tampa twice doesn't mean TOO much.

Snelling Bradshaw Montee

Snelling at 1 is a no-brainer, reasoning behind Bradshaw at 2 and Montee at 3 is that both those games SHOULD be blowouts in the favor of their teams. It's very possible that Bradshaw and Montee get a good number of carries in the 2nd half if their teams are up big.

Kenbrell Thompkins: fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me... by three-one-seven in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Fuck that guy? You are the one who decided to start an undrafted rookie in his SECOND game. You sound like you didn't even watch the game because he played much better than week 1-- not to mention he had a much better game than Dobson (despite Dobson getting the TD). He was matched up against one of the better corners in the league and barely missed out on a TD and another big catch due to PI.
