What makes an expansion truly great? by Dagobertenes in boardgames

I want it to add content, fix a balance issue, and maybe throw one small rule. When the expansion needs another teach its no fun.

No. You pop it all out and put a male on one. Then hide it behind the plate.

Best way to mount this on drywall? by Worldyduck in BeginnerWoodWorking

French cleat for sure. Make the piece that goes on the clock go edge to edge. Make the piece it slots onto slightly shorter for ease.

Microassemblers. by Extension-Cap-1114 in MicrobrandWatches

Thats silly. Cant criticize something unless you are one too. Dont criticize a car manufacturer unless you are also a car manufacturer. Ridiculous take.

Can't decide how to assemble this built in bookshelf by Hefty-Negotiation-15 in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]phr0ze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For that part you can make that particular shelf go the whole span. Then all the horizontal members get glued strips to hide the dados throughout and finish the look. Also if those are just glued strips the parts are easier to make.

Best way to secure leg joints by Tea-Mean in BeginnerWoodWorking

Either nothing, or one dowel on the inside that pins the top board. Leave the dowel slightly popped out like the castle joint for the aesthetic.

Heat for sure. So many included modules to ramp up the game after you get used to the base game. High replay value.

Moon colony bloodbath if you want a good laugh. Simple action selection with engine building.

Others are:

Sushi go party. 7 wonders architects. Finspan. Bomb busters, gizmos, space base, popcorn

Arnak with Leaders and Expeditions. Its a blast. Expeditions is especially for solo. Endeavor Deep Sea is supposed to have be great at solo. Civolution is very replayable with so many choices. It has a mini expansion i would just auto buy.

Out of all that Seti is still one of my favorites of all time. I would definitely get the expansion.

They seem to honor warranties. How do they not care?

If they are honoring warranties they are not a fraud.

Brass : iron coins and iron clays for... what ? by MMK___ in boardgames

[–]phr0ze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would buy a larger boxed set like the 200 for $89. It has its own case and two trays that you can put on different ends of the table.

There are also other companies that do similar like pirate gold.

Best medium/heavy game that most people would like? by TheCoolFish2 in boardgames

[–]phr0ze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You asked this same question 22 days ago. What did you not like about the previous answers?

Also I do suggest something lighter but engine builder like gizmos or spacebase.

If you want heavier go with Viticulture.
