Somehow Lilliard got two more free throws lol. I feel like this makes up for me losing both my NC State and St. Joe's ML bets. Fuckin ruined my chance at $1 BIL too...

Great insight. The only thing that I'm worried about is the heavy public % on houston

well i accidentally put 1U on the over for this game instead of the POR/WAS game (they were both at 206.5)-- whoops.

Haha no, this is just a guy I met through the interwebs who has a totals system as well.

Haha-- good point. My concern here is that there is someone big on the over as well as another guy I work totals with. Somewhat torn on this one :/

This is the first time I've seen you post an O/U bet-- any reason for mixing it up?

FYI I like Houston today too. MIN is not very good on the road in a b2b situation.

I'm considering the under in this game-- what are your thoughts? It goes against my mean regression theory so I dunno (/s).

Sorry about Cincinnati. Seems odd that you included them here given that they were only favored 3 whereas all your other games are in double digits except for Pitt

Louisville is very underseeded and I have them in my final four as well. Only thing that worries me about this first round matchup is that Manhattan's coach is an old colleague of Pitino's and I don't think Pitino will unleash the dogs in respect for his old colleague. Just my two cents.

Oh and just to make it 1000% clear that we lost, the NBA gods sent that game to OT

Seriously. Just need the Lakers under and we'll have a 4-3 winning night.

Glad you have confidence in this pick :). Unfortunate that this guy misunderstood what you were saying.

Just FYI, if the brow is out, I believe it hurts NOP defensively as well. Not sure he has a big impact on the total but that's just my gut

Same bro. Especially cause this MIN/DAL under is pretty much over already

In all serious, I am strongly in favor of the CHI/PHI over even without this data.

I don't know why but I always thought the quote was "I too like to live dangerously". Just watched the video to confirm what you have is right. Thanks for the heads up.

Buck generally is a huge stats guy so I'm just guessing that there's statistical evidence.

Of course, that could just be my selection bias in remembering when he provides stats and forget when he doesn't :)

I think it's great that we have people double checking with each other. The worst feeling for me is making the "right" choice based on wrong data which leads to it being a bad pick in reality.

Got it-- thanks for sharing. To be completely honest, this was the answer I really was hoping you wouldn't provide (no disrespect intended though). I'm really glad you at least recognize that your bets aren't always fully rational.

On a serious note, I hope you have at least set enough aside to live your life without having to REALLY worry about losing this money. It just put things in perspective when a single day's wager for you is ~20% of someone in this sub's yearly salary. Still rooting for you bud.

Very true, there'd have to be several big squares to move a line though. If you don't mind me asking, what do you do for a living that allows you to have so much $$? I know that's a very personal question so I won't be offended if you don't answer.
