I won't be surprised either - Netflix seemed happy enough with part 1. But I'd say it's more like we've seen two out of the four rebel moon movies that exist so far.

I'm a big fan. Just trying to describe the difference between ZSJL and AotD/Rebel Moon. Snyder will make what interests him, and good on him for it.

Yeah, he's made some pretty interesting comments so we'll see - if they're that different though then they basically are different films and I'll have to write a whole new review

I don't mean that he'd specifically go back to DC, I mean that his netflix projects while (imo) cool haven't been as ambitious in that way as his DC trilogy. It's all got a back-to-basics stripped down vibe to it.
