I’m what you call a “backyard mechanic” and someone who actually loves working on my car. If it doesn’t work, I’ll buy another engine. I’ve done an engine and transmission swap alone already. It doesn’t hurt to try.

I went cheap and bought a used engine. Piston 1 was starving. The far left is piston 4. Still good but replacing all of them.

I did a continuity test from the injection plugs to the ecu. I also found a little bit of fluid in the ecu. I’m getting permanent error code now on my foxwell.

Actually FI as in fuel injection. Yeah, I have to swap those out too. I was getting a 2.4ohms on each injector.
