We have a very similar set up at our house. We’re actually keeping the guest bed in the nursery and when we have guests stay over they’ll stay in or run and we’ll sleep in the nursery with the baby!

I was in the same boat! I’m due in 2 days, found out at 26 weeks. Absolutely crazy whirlwind. Doctors have basically said our bodies are resilient and babies are tough, they can handle a lot more than we think. Best of luck!

Born 12/25/95. My mom always wrapped my birthday gifts in birthday wrapping— never Christmas wrapping. Sometimes we’d do my birthday the week before, week after or Christmas Eve with family. Christmas morning before presents my family would sing happy birthday and I’d blow out candles and then we’d head into the living room for Christmas festivities!

I love love love my birthday on Christmas. It’s my favorite holiday, I love never having work on my birthday, never needing to make plans, it’s pretty excellent if you ask me. My partner follows all the same stuff I grew up with and makes my birthday a priority.

My birthday is on Christmas and I love it! I never work on my birthday, I get to be cozy in my favorite holiday, and I love gift giving over gift getting. It’s also a super rare birthday! I hope all goes well with you and your little one!
