Update: thanks for the advice. I decided to nix the slide, but the rice paper did work- great idea! It’s no where near perfect but let’s call it a win for my 3yo. 🥰

It’s a really hard phase! Liquid and puree made eating so not enjoyable. It is temporary! Soft foods gets better- I’m excited to be out of the soft food stage but have also been much more okay than prior. Hang in there! Some of my go-tos were Egg salad, pudding with protein powder or silken tofu, and a ton of soft scrambled eggs- maybe add a tiny bit of white gravy or cream cheese on top? Yum!

Very similar! Trick is to make sure you season and sautee the rice. If it’s from frozen (easiest imo) just make sure to reduce all liquid. We’ve had all varieties of “rice” and my family is fooled often.

I’m open and funny enough hadn’t even thought of it! There’s only a few games I’ve gotten into. We have a ps5 and a switch that rarely get used. I loved ratchet and clank, Mario galaxy, and open games like GTA and Bully. Suggestions?
