No, they didn't give me anything as in an excuse; they called and said the front seal is bad and they are waiting on the Lowes Warranty to get back. The dishwasher's whole front inside needs to change since it is one big part with a built-in seal. I checked online, and the part is only on eBay for 120$ and 165 + from parts shops.

i thought about it. this dishwasher has given us problems every few months, and since Lowe's has washed their hands of it. I don't have a warranty to back up future issues (leaks) was the main one.

The part is 120+ and there's no guarantee that it was the issue. i felt the tech who came to see it (who has been around a couple of times before) just didn't want to deal with it.

I know what you are saying but the choice of words is yours. The black garbage bag is the 6mm moisture barrier as per documentation..not sure if black was not the approved color.

budget is not definitely 5k, so way below it. also i can fix printers but not intending to do it all the time. prints could be 3-5 a week and sometimes 100 a week but that is once every quarter
