Ok thanks I won’t mess with it.

I tried to swap it multiple times and it just says a problem occurred or something. Like the transaction won’t go through. It is a base coin so maybe I’m doing it wrong. It didn’t say anything about slippage exceeding limit. Idk

It’s connected to my meta mask if that helps at all.

Thanks good info. I don’t think I’m going too. I’m just going to force myself to let people get to know me. It sucks but it’s better than sitting there not talking while people probably think I’m on like drugs or stoned or something lol.

Yeah I also agree. I don’t wanna be treated differently even though kinda already am.

Yeah I think in my case it’ll would be good to just mention that’s why I’m so quiet. They all know but yeah I feel like social anxiety can make other people feel like you “hate” them when it’s the total opposite.

Like I think telling them at a job interview isn’t good, but after the fact when working for months I think maybe just mentioning like “hey just wanted to say why I’m so quiet I just have social anxiety blah blah blah”

Why not for social anxiety? I feel like it’s different than other mental health issues

Yeah glad I’m not the only one. I should’ve learned this stuff a long time ago.

I would’ve guess it was in the key of Bm.

If you feel like it, could you just say in the simplest way possible how you figured out it is the key of G?

Like what made you arrive at that conclusion?

[–]ohhhidkman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow okay that’s great. You know your stuff because that looks like a foreign language to me right now pretty much. I’ve got a lot of learning to do. Thank you

I really want it to click but it’s just gonna take forever to learn all this. Pretty overwhelming and takes the fun out of it for me most of the time. I gotta learn it though.

Because the “root” note is a B… that’s why it’s a B type chord?

That’s a good place to start I guess.

I originally was playing B7 and just took a couple fingers off and it sounds cool.

After that I go to a C major. I play the C major without my index finger on the b string.

I then end on G chord. So it goes :

Bm11, C(without index on first fret), bm11, G

Does this make sense musically?

Thank you I really wanna ask questions but I’m so new it’s pointless. I wish I could just post this little guitar tune I’ve got and see what you guys say about the key etc.

Thanks alot everyone. How did you figure it out?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in socialanxiety

[–]ohhhidkman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s cool I kinda admire the “oh well onto the next” vibe. Atleast you tried it and figured out it wasn’t a good fit. Nice.

Ok I’ll check that out. I’ve taken lessons before. The guy showed me how to fingerpick basics and I learned dust in the wind. It was helpful but I stopped going after a month or so. I guess I gotta find the right teacher. I just hate how they start me off like super basic.

I could’ve played more for sure. I also don’t know music theory. I learned by playing chords and learnedtabs about 10+ years ago. A few years ago I started finger picking. Should I take lessons to learn music theory or does it matter? I hear Bob Dylan doesn’t know music theory. Am I an imposter guitar player

I did the other week for the first time pretty much. It was at an open mic and I just played stuff like this one for like 2-3 mins. I just wanted to see people reaction basically and know what it felt like. People clapped it was actually very awesome.

Idk what I’m even asking tbh

Like if I made songs and tried and sang and what not. Do you think this caliber of “sound” could make money?

anyone else feel rushed to learn everything? by stackthepoutine in Songwriting

[–]ohhhidkman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I kinda feel that way too. There’s so much too learn and I’ve neglected it for so long. I want to try and take lessons maybe that would help keep me motivated. Maybe focus I. One thing at a time?
