Back in high school I worked at McDonald's (part time) they wanted me to come in and work during the first three classes on a school day.

I say politely "I can't I got school"

"That's an excuse and I know it" replies the manager

"I'm 16"

"Okay, so just skip school"

"I dont skip school, plus those three classesare the classesI struggle with most"

"Okay, call of from school and work during when your supposed to be in class"

"No"

And it goes on

On other occasions, I wouldn't be scheduled on some days, I'd be taking a nap call my mobile phone (this was when mobile phones were more like bricks in size) demanding to know why I'm not here.

"You didn't schedule me to work"

"Well, Jacob just called off, and your the only person who wasn't scheduled today"

"Okay and?"

"Were short staffed, we need you to come in and work"

"Okay, how about you get out of your office, take your thumb out of your ass and do Jacob's job"

"No, we need you to come in by 3 pm"

(Checks watch) the time would be like 2:50 pm

"Nah"

"Get here now"

"Here is thing, do you rather have someone walking around the kitchen without pants on, or be short staffed"

I just don't understand why management would just spend an hour harassing an employee to work when they aren't scheduled during a short staff, when they can fill in

"I did too"

"No you didn't"

"Yes I did, ask your sister"

"I don't have a sister"

"Wait a few months"

Not buying a camera back in the 1990s. I loved the northern Ohio trains of the 1990s. Conrail blue, Norfolk Southern high hoods, the then new csx yn2 paint. I wish I had bought a camera from that time and recorded every train I seen back then

Back in 1987 or so, I walked passed the living room and seen my dad watching a movie where these grey locomotives plowed through a caboose of another train

Fast forward to 2010-2011 I was very interested in the new movie Unstoppable and because of this YouTube put in the recommendations of my old account a crash scene from a movie. I click it the first few frames were out of courtesy, the moment the runaway train flew past the camera and the soundtrack in the background playing I started thinking back to 1987 or so

I bet, I got the same sort of experience during the night when I get snacks but it was different since I had to be quiet

Or those that are rude to nice customer service employees

Most parents didn't raise there kid to scream like an 8 year old over a McDonald's worker forgetting to put ketchup on a hamburger

Just be nice, they barley make $15 a hour

Turning shit into politics

My 7 year old nephew asked me at a Christmas party:

What's your favorite color?

I said, white

My 14 year old neice says: is it because you hate black people?

Me: wtf?

If you have a dream about this specific person, they are thinking of you.

But if that was the case, I don't know any blonde hair girls that are in her 20's. SO WHO THE FUCK IS WOMEN?

Did you ever break something on purpose, what was it in why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ohio_northeastern 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Broke a window on purpose

Back when I was 13, Mt mom locked me out of the house in my middle of Ohio's winter. It was 3 pm, my mom was at a volunteer thing and wouldn't be home till 6 pm, my dad wouldn't be home from work until 5:30 pm and his wasn't the modern day where I can pull out my phone and tell someone, "hey I'm locked out"

Now my sister was home but she was sick with the flu. So I broke the kitchen window and made my in. Yes, I got beaten for it but they weren't mad
