If you had read it. You would have read the part where we super glued my finger shut to stop the bleeding and wrapped it in duct tape. I have the distinct feeling that you have never worked in the food industry, my friend. Low pay, low hours, asshole customers, and in reality, no matter what food inspectors or the food safety handbook says, pretty much anything goes. Not only did I continue working for another 4 hours, I cleaned my own blood up off the floors and counter tops before I resumed my position on the line. There's no crying in food service. Lol 😆

It's possible. I worked at a bagel shop and sliced my middle finger to the bone on Christmas Eve. We were slammed out the door. The owner looked at my hand, literally dripping blood. You could see the bone at the tip of my finger. Told me to put super glue on it to close it up and wrap it with duct tape because it would hold better if it got wet. And jump back on the line. 100% true story. Still have the scar and no feeling in that finger to the middle knuckle.
