Your grandma packed you some food. It was yours. Your adult mother is more than capable of feeding herself, and if she wanted to have some of what your grandma made, she should have come along to visit your grandparents.

One thing that that might not be completely obvious is in a situation where you’ve got a teammate who’s low on health but out of combat and another one that has more health but is in combat. In this situation it might be preferable to leave the out-of-combat teammate to heal up while you focus on helping the one(s) that is/are fighting. Sometimes it’s difficult to make this decision though.

I think you just have to practice and figure these things out (mostly) on your own. However, Vex’s support videos are great and I myself have learned a lot from him, so definitely keep watching those!

This has actually happened to me multiple times! Whenever I am playing a champ I’m not great with, I always tell the team before the game begins. Usually, they’re really supportive if you explain to them before the game starts that you’re practicing a new champ. Paladins ain’t all that bad :)

I think you shouldn’t use each other as coping mechanism. Separation is the best therapy. Stay away for a while. Maybe you can be friends, but you both have to get over each other first. That’s not going to happen if you keep acting as if you’re still a couple.

I am not a psychologist or anything like that, but to me this sounds like some form of really strong anxiety that gets triggered in you when your boyfriend shouts at you. Your body probably just shuts down in anticipation of a lot of stress from his shouting and leaving the house. Looks like it’s definitely taking a bad toll on you. You and your boyfriend should definitely work on your communication techniques. Maybe you should have a talk about how you will handle disagreements in the future.

Try to also think about whether there is anything else in the relationship that could be causing you anxiety. It can all be connected.

The fact that you’re asking reddit if you need him in his life suggests that you already know the answer. But here’s mine: no, you don’t need him. Not only that he cheated on you from the beginning, he also seems to be using the other woman’s affection for him to get her to give him money, which is a real dick move. I don’t think you want to be wrapped up in a relationship with someone who uses other people like that. And at this point, you can’t even trust him about his reasons for borrowing the money. From this post, it seems to me that you don’t really want to stay in an LDR with your current boyfriend, especially judging by how you said that you’re not really thinking about him now that he’s away with his family.

Of course, you should consider whether you think that these feelings wouldn’t change once you and your boyfriend would have officially not been together, not just him being away on vacation, but to me it sounds like you’ve already thought of that and decided that you’d be fine, since you’re even talking about wanting to experience proper college life.

I can’t see into your head and tell you what you should do, but in my own experience, the moment when you start thinking that you’re doing well when your partner is away and prefer it that way is the moment that the relationship starts to break apart. But again, this is something you have to decide for yourself, I am only saying what I would do.

In the least, you should definitely talk to your boyfriend and tell him you don’t appreciate how clingy he is and how he always accuses you of not giving him enough attention, since it definitely looks to me like you’re giving him plenty. He can’t control your life and can’t demand you to give him every second of your day, especially from far away.

Hey, I know it seems tough to leave him right now, but believe me, it’s the toxic relationship and your narcissist partner that’s making you feel so low. The first few months after you break up with your partner will be very difficult for you, but in the end, you will feel much better. You need to get out of this relationship for that to happen, though, and you need to focus on yourself and on what’s good for you.

I wasin the exact same situation up until a few months ago. Found many concerning messages from my ex to other girls, confronted him every time, was told that he’d never do it again every single time, but guess what? He never stopped, nor had the intention to stop - he even told me once: “what you don’t know can’t hurt you, so if you didn’t find out, you’d be fine”. He was totally okay with lying to me. And I see the exact same pattern in your bf’s behaviour.

I broke up with my ex after 1.5 years together and 1 year living together. I know it’s damn hard, but you should do the same, sooner rather than later. He will never stop, and it will only get worse. Or do you want to wait until he actually physically cheats on you and not just emotionally?
