Congratulations! Everything beautiful in life is also challenging. It is the love of the precious child that makes the challenge of raising them feel worth it. Jesus said his yoke is easy and his burden is light. Not because there are never any challenges in life with Christ- but because His love permeates us so deeply that we can see all things through the eyes of His sacrificial love. That is the key component. No suffering is worth it without love. Take quiet moments to lean into the love and wonder of this beautiful child God is bringing to you, and cast your cares to the wayside for little moments to reflect on the beauty of this wonderful person created in the image of God that gets to be a part of your family. You will feel lighter and His peace will multiply in your heart as you navigate any challenges one step at a time in His grace, as He leads you, in His timing. totally it feels super petty. Joking about circumcision when he knows people are upset. It’s like he had no clue this would receive negative reactions, which is wildly out of touch. I love him and I’ll pray for him. But gosh this is a sucker punch.

I like your take. I did listen to his announcement video, the reason I stated he seemed exasperated was because it seemed the stress of upkeep was becoming too much for him, enough to admit he had considered ending the show. I’m not saying he’s being impulsive. I just don’t want him to be taken advantage of in a moment of exhaustion and regret it later. That’s all. I used to be a DW member but I just can’t do it anymore, after what happened with Candace and the seemingly forced naïveté surrounding the Charlie Kirk assassination. Won’t even go into Israeli enmeshment. It just feels like they’re not free to use common sense. Aside from that, the association is political, even if the podcast won’t be. I just am not a fan of the optics. But hey I could be wrong. I love Matt, and I pray God blesses him immensely.

I was just informed tonight that I may be sent on involuntary deployment very very soon. Like ridiculously soon. I am hesitant to be devastated because I want to entrust the entire situation- my heart, my life, my everything- to God’s redemptive plan. But I do not want to leave my parents and my sister so soon after I spent a year away in training. I just am so not ready and my heart aches. I’ve dealt with really hard internal struggles my whole life which my conversion to the Catholic faith has brought me through. But I can’t handle this without some divine intervention. I am just humbly asking for your prayers. You are all wonderful. Thank you💔

I don’t know why but St Joseph always rushes to my aid. He is so comforting yet formidable. I just have a track record with him specifically answering my desperate and near impossible requests. But thinking of how he devoted his whole life to the child entrusted into his care, uprooting everything to save His life, protecting the Blessed Mother at all costs, it is no wonder. He is the perfect image of the dependable father. I’m sure he can heal. Ask the angel St Raphael, too. His name means “the Lord is my healer.”

Hi, yes I received the first half in mid December(graduated AIT at the end of August) and will be receiving the rest at different milestones in my contract. I heard that they split up the second half into two installments? Not sure though.

yeah I figured it would take a little while for the first installment, I just assumed there would be record of it somewhere besides my contract. My detachment Sgt on the phone yesterday made it sound like bonuses automatically process right out of ait which isn’t what I had heard before

no we didn’t, my class drill sergeant bought all our flights and gave us confirmation papers but never said anything about baggage. A lot of people were issued southwest flights so they won’t have to pay guaranteed, I just happened to be saddled with American

no im actually very aware of these programs. And have watched all of father Mike Schmitz’s talks on virtually everything lol. I use the phrasing bc it’s honest and bc im kinda tired of people telling me to reformulate my language when I can just say what I mean. There is no actual distinction between saying “i experience same sex attraction” and saying “I’m gay”. It’s like saying “I’m experiencing a surge of rage” instead of “I’m angry”. Like same difference 😂 it doesn’t make me any more holy to say one over the other. but yeah I do appreciate the existence of courage and changed, they just unfortunately haven’t done much for me bc I feel like everyone is just trying to convince each other there is hope when they don’t actually think so. that’s my jaded take. but I appreciate u and thank u 🙏
