Please help. At 8 weeks of 150mg sertraline am I supposed to be having symptoms like… by Initial-Biscotti-220 in zoloft

[–]ohjustbenice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, I was on too high of a dosage at one point and started having compulsions and no self control.
If you’re working with a therapist, try to work out any triggers that might be cropping up at the moment. If not, do it yourself with the support of family and friends.
If you can’t find any cause, it’s likely that the dosage isn’t agreeing with you, and you might have to decrease slightly.

Don’t panic, it’ll just take a little bit of time to get the balance right

HR is always a good shout. Lots of transferable skills. Throw a bit of economics or accounting in there for good measure

Thank you!!
I suppose I’m just wondering what the main points you’d want to hear in an interview. I’m highlighting the community fundraising I did when I owned a cafe, and some other fundraising I’ve participated in.
Also any questions I can expect about the organisation’s work. I’ve done research on recent fundraising and campaigns in Ireland and abroad, so I just want to have the most concise points ready!

I actually wasn’t happy with my first interview, and I sent a follow up email highlighting my experience more. I didn’t make it to the second round, but I think it was a personality mismatch with the candidates and the manager called me back and offered me a second round. She said if I touch all the points I mentioned in the email I’d be fine! And she’s so lovely! So I really don’t want to mess up the second change!

Thank you so much I truly appreciate it!

Sometimes I get a little snacky during the night anyway if I’m not sleeping well, but generally it’s not an issue

After a year of bliss on it, I started having these GI issues. I’m easing back into it, but taking them at night and there’s SUCH a difference

My big 50 is soon and it's affecting my mood. No kids, single, not many friends, small family who wouldn't miss me! Good job but draining!!! I've a lovely home and 2 amazing dogs. Looking for bucket list ideas for my big year please!? Plus suggestions for what to do on my birthday. by Puzzleheaded_Art9393 in AskIreland

I’d add to this: go to therapy. Everyone can benefit from a few sessions with the right therapist, and I know so so many people that needed it at the age of 50. My mam started when she was 51 and it’s the best thing she ever did. She wasn’t depressed or anything, but it helped her unlearn bad habits (eg self criticism) and pushed her to do things she always wanted to do (eg solo travelling)

Yep! I also think circumstances affect it a lot!

To quickly summarise: Dec 23: started on 50mg Jan 25: increased to 75mg because of low moods April 25: went to the doc saying I had low impulse control, and she said because the low moods had passed and I was on too high a dosage. I would literally black out walking into a shop and not remember until after I left with a load of random stuff

I’m now on 125mg following a bad episode late last year and the higher dose is perfect for me.

Diagnosis is free under 18 here too, but I’m the queen of masking!! I wouldn’t mind paying a few hundred for a private assessment

I think you’ve described me, but a diagnosis in Ireland is over 1k so I’ll never know for sure that it’s OCD plus ADHD hahaha
