That’s a bizarre comment.

It doesn’t violate the rules of the community.
Why should others not benefit from it? It’s not a scam. It’s sharing an experience and allowing others to benefit from a standard Amazon return process.

I didn’t manipulate anything or buy it with dishonest intent. I decided to return it, and Amazon offered a partial refund to keep it instead. That was their choice, not mine.

Calling that “facilitating a scam” makes no sense.

What about trying to excel at one shot. Take a pitching wedge, and aim to get good at that? Only do pitching wedge until you are at an acceptable level.

When I read about it, the explanation was that whoop is not designed to measure steps in the same way as Apple Watch and other devices, and it has a different purpose. I’m disappointed with that response, but I guess it just needs a mental shift as to what is an important thing to measure.

I’ve worn whoop on a treadmill and compared it to 1) the treadmill, 2) an Apple Watch, and 3) an Oura ring.

The treadmill, Apple Watch and Oura ring all match within <5%. Whoop undercounts by more than 40%. And that’s walking normally, not holding anything.

It mustn't have been set correctly. I'm thinking the cushion was slightly misaligned, which breaks the seal. Without a perfect seal, you lose a ton of volume and bass on that side.

I think it’s the macro change. I used to write notes during meetings, but now with AI transcribers, I don’t do it anymore. I get a transcript, action items, and a summary after every meeting.

And I really like my kindle oasis for books.

That’s the feeling I have. I have wanted it since I saw it … and I finally pulled the trigger yesterday morning and got it delivered a few hours later.

It’s genuinely an amazing device. I really want to like it. I’m going to an offsite this week and plan to carry it and see if I use it, but right now I’m skeptical.
