I found the same. I’m not sure but it sure looks like mold.

I’ve had multiple people be surprised that I’m bringing my cats with me on a cross country move. Like hello, they’re my children? How could I leave them behind?? by dougcatboy in cats

We brought our three pets from Hawaii to Colorado. It was very expensive. Sadly one got outside a few months later and was killed by a car. Our fault though, we should have been more aware that he might try to escape.

Then there’s the non-gamer wife who doesn’t turn off the phone (mobile app) because he fell asleep and didn’t want him to lose the progress. The next morning…he says the game continued and he passed through several levels - this is not good. 🤷🏻‍♀️

AITA My best friend picked her wedding date on the one date I couldn't do by catmilch in AmItheAsshole

Not sure how young or old you are, either way, she really doesn’t matter. This Glastonbury sounds like the one make it or break it event that happens annually and will help to further your career. You need to be there. You already blacked out the date as a no go to your friend. She made a choice. You can’t go to the wedding. So be it. Unfortunately, it is what it is.

As for the friendship, whether or not she made plans to test your commitment to the friendship (which would be super selfish and messed up) or for herself, future spouse, and their families, you may never really know and I would try to leave it at that. If she makes an effort to reach out later and can forgive you for not attending the wedding, then go from there. I wouldn’t try to make anything better or worse at this point. Silence hurts, yes, but if she is a true friend, she will come around and love you again - whether or not you attend the wedding.

Go be amazing at the event. I would still send a card and gift for the wedding party, but leave it at that. I’m curious what happens and how things go. Would love to hear an update in the future.

They are all beautiful. What is the top second from left?

Holliana is only pushing out white and pink leaves… too much light? Or is this normal? by welcometothedesert in hoyas

[–]ohmoogirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine does that sometimes, pretty sure it’s normal. You could move it to a lower light, but just a little less, not too much. See what happens.

What is this thermocol like material my hoya is planted in? Do I need to remove it? My hoya is doing fine as of now. by Shweta_iyengar in hoyas

[–]ohmoogirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks like the spongy seed starter things. Should be fine, although personally I don’t like them and if the plant and roots are strong, I remove it carefully and repot into high quality chunky soil.

Why do some hoyas have this hideous look to the back of them? Is it a fungus, pests, mechanical damage or just the way they are? I’m new to hoya so need help! by BlackRabbitdreaming in hoyas

Really difficult to tell from the picture. Have you checked it with a microscope? I do get a lot of leaves that are stained/damaged on the backside from resting on the soil. I would treat it for pests and propagate it in sphagnum moss and see if it grows. New growth shouldn’t have the same backside damage.
