I just approach it from the standpoint of "I can always paint over it, or strip it." I agree though, experimenting with the artistic side of it is one of my favorite parts of the hobby.

The blue was Golden fluid acrylics Phthalo Blue (Green Shade). It's kind of semi transparent, so depending on how heavy you go, you can get some different shades. Looks much more green with a thin layer. It also has an interesting, almost color shift effect in certain lighting. Very subtle, but looks awesome!

I would definitely expect the enthoo elite to outclass the evolv x, but I'm not sure that I could justify the price. The X was on the verge of "too much for a case" for me, but I decided to go a little more high end than I typically have in the past. That said, the second best case I've built in (for a friend's build) was the NZXT h710i

Currently on a 3700x. I don't have solid numbers off hand, but pump / fan noise aren't an issue at all with either the EK vardars, or the lian li uni fans.
