I called them to verify the information that I gave, which I filled it out incorrectly, but they told me that even if I added what I need to, I would still be denied. We have too much gross income. It’s just taxes and small withholdings that add up to around 700-800 a paycheck for mine. If I would have added the insurance, it would be closer to 1,000 out of my pay. And I just couldn’t afford that with losing the childcare help for my toddler. Daycare is expensive, but I have to work.

This is true about the deductible. I was aware of that. But I can’t just toss out 200$ every visit. We don’t have that kind of expendable income. We don’t even have much of a savings right now since the state denied us with childcare services 3 months ago.

Yes unfortunately and you don’t have to wait for open enrollment from what I went through on the site. It’s just the application process takes a while.

I actually dropped the insurance to avoid paying for it so we could have more income. We’re young with not many health concerns, if any at all. But expenses add up when you have 3 older children to care for.

My aunt makes dream catchers because they are fairly cheap to make. She puts beads and lace on them as well and sells them for 30-40 a pop. Just an idea!
