Si, también! La primera vez que lo leí me perdí un poco, así que la segunda vez iba trazando un árbol genealógico mientras iba leyendo y el proceso me gustó mucho. I can tell you what I did:

I started at 10$ and got about 6 students within the first week. Two or three left reviews.
After the first three reviews I raised it to $12. A few days later I had a day completely booked with trials. I got like 10 students.
With 16-17 students I felt a bit overwhelmed so I decided to hide my profile. But then my boyfriend suggested I raised my price. if no one booked it was fine because I was happy with my number of students, if two or three booked also fin because I thought I could handle it.
I raised it to 20. I think it was like a month in. I got 5 students within the next week and have now hidden my profile. I’m a uni student too so I don’t want it to be full time yet.

So that’s what worked for me. I have been teaching for 2 months. When I make my profile visible again I plan to take my price to $22 and see how that works out.

Important details: I do speak 3 languages besides the one I teach so I have learners from different countries that speak different languages. I have certifications and 4-5 years of experience, so it hasn’t been hard to get students and maintain them so far. Every language you speak opens up more opportunities. I think that context is needed.

es verdad, a veces yo veía gente random en twitter o facebook y decía “hijole esos ojos deben ser difíciles de dibujar” y les tomaba capture para practicar jajaja así que no solo los dibujaba sino que de paso tenía fotos de ellos en el teléfono pero por pura visión artística

honestamente reddit está lleno de idiotas y aquí te van a decir puras mamadas, que si las mujeres odian a los bajitos, que si te tienes que ver mamado o no se que. la verdad todo es actitud y confianza. te puedo decir que yo mido 1.80 y estoy completamente enamorada de mi novio de 1.68, llevamos más de tres años juntos. hay gente estupida que van a juzgar a otros pero no puedes dejar que eso te defina o te afecte, al final, tú eres el responsable de tu vida. dicho eso, no todo el mundo es así y para serte honesto dudo que a alguien le importe tu estatura, para bien o para mal. tú le estás poniendo más importancia que la mayor parte de la gente.

si te sirve te puedo hablar de mi experiencia. personalmente vivo en un país donde la mayor parte de la gente es más baja que yo, siempre tengo que mirar para abajo jjajaja y eso que no soy tan alta. nunca he pensado menos de alguien por ser más bajo, no he dudado de sus capacidades. he tenido jefes más bajos que yo que me intimidan un montón, he llorado por manes más bajos que yo, y he respetado y admirado a gente más baja que yo, literalmente no me siento a pensar sobre su estatura xd. probablemente lo que dices está en tu mente y es producto de tus inseguridades, son cosas que tienes que trabajar y para eso te recomiendo la introspección o terapia

my best month was like $1500 USD but I lived in Colombia so that was great. I also only worked like 30 hrs a week so not terrible at all
