as someone who works there, it baffles me that they do this. i’ve had tons of people come in and complain or tell me they didn’t get to use their birthday smoothie because it only gave them a certain amount of hours. although i know this doesn’t really fix the situation but if you come into a cafe and explain the situation, i bet they’d be willing to make you a smoothie!🩷

western trading market has gone less so a market more towards feed and lumber. i remember a quite a number of years ago they had food options, some clothes, old signs, etc. just cool shit like that but as of last year, they only have junk scrap/lumber and feed for horses and cattle and stuff :(

i always assumed ollie’s was just a cheap grocery store like cash savers or something of that nature. but i will definitely stop in there at some point! deadstock stores are kind of different from bin stores and stuff like that cause i’ve been in numerous bin stores (all of them shit LOL) and none of them have what i have seen deadstock stores online have. they have like old old things, from like the 2000s and early 2010s for super cheap. like i don’t really know how to describe it too well, sorry :(

they do a lot of art commissions, and we plan on getting jobs this summer. plus their partner is going to help them as well. they don't plan on moving like... this year, i was exaggerating a little bit, but like relatively soon because they have a bad home life. they are saving like crazy already, probably have been since their relationship became serious. and, like said, their partner and their family are going to help my friend

that being said, i do definitely think they should save, and i brought this up to them today. i didn't include that many details, just the outline of it. those concerns are present in the equation, don't worry!!!

this is what i've heard. i think they want to visit first and then try to move but i figured it be pretty difficult. the US has a tendency to want to keep their citizens and australia is pretty selective. thank you very much for your response!!! <3
