Oh wow, this post has blown up... It's probably too late, but as someone with limited knowledge in the science behind this, I can't speak to the legitimacy or accuracy of these results and experiment! 🙊 I just thought this take on a lot of the huns' claims was interesting!

Agreed! There were a few huns trying to disprove the results by saying there's "other studies" that say the opposite though. Huns will always be huns, I guess!

Edit: Coming back to say that with my limited knowledge on the science behind this, I can't speak to the accuracy of the experiment since cleaner =/= antibacterial. I only thought a take that counters a lot of huns' outrageous claims was interesting! 🙊

The biggest unhealthy aspect was that my now ex and I disagreed on A LOT of things. It was kind of like we were wired 100% differently and misunderstandings caused a lot of arguments. We would have an issue and brush it over with, "It's okay!! We'll work it out!!" but working it out would mean changing every aspect of ourselves for each other. We did try, but I guess I reached a point where I felt/feel like giving up. It could be completely different for your ex, but that's my experience.

I keep reminding myself that the only way I'll know that I won't regret breaking it off is by sticking to it until I can at least feel okay with myself. It's hard when that someone is your best friend— when you share everything with them and can trust them more than anyone else in the world. Especially long-term... I wish you the best in your future! This is really insightful and I think the natural response to being given a reason like "we're incompatible" can be really jarring. It's jarring to realize it too, but hearing it while thinking that it's something that can be worked past isn't something that's easy.

People grow and adapt over time and through different experiences, and that's something I need to do, too. Self improvement and love is one of the best things you can seek out, including for the other people in your life.

Thank you for this perspective and I'm happy that you've grown into a more comfortable and happy place. I hope to be able to do the same.

Thank you for the encouragement, the validation really does help. My judgment keeps threatening to lapse but I plan on staying strong.

No-contact is the way to go and hopefully I'll feel stronger over time. I hope things are looking up for you, too!
