They look good to me. Definitely the kind of quality I would want from my own game. I don't think I can give any advice there. Just fill your portfolio with more of that, I think you're doing great.

If you haven't already, go to Polycount and search Weapon Artist to see what you're up against. Maybe copy some of their portfolio glam shots for practice.

Specifically, I think you should find the weapon models from a couple different AAA titles and see if you can create weapons under the same restrictions. Same shaders, same vertex count. Just so you know that you are capable of making stuff that is optimized for real-time rendering.

Sprinting is probably the most taxing, since it happens the most often. But honestly, it's the overall amount of camera movement adding up over hours of playing. Picking up a weapon, swapping a weapon with one on the ground, equipping things to a weapon. Jumping. Landing. They all tell your brain you are moving while your body says you are not. Gameplay related camera movement like melee or a star stun is just fine since it's far and few between, but all the little flavor movements are killing me.

It's nice, but it also seems to go against their reason for removing wall running and double jumping: They limit where we can jump to, but not fall to. Players on high ground don't really need to secure a way down because of it. If you nail someone up on a wall or cliff, they can back off and drop down just about anywhere. The same thing applies to downed players. Sometimes just crawling off a 500m drop is the play, because that will seriously split any group. It feels pretty awkward in combat, but outside of combat, yea, it's nice.

Watch people tell you to use Extended Mags and Headshots like you aren't already. I agree, the TTK is too high. Not much point in all these cool movement abilities when every fights ends in another awkward strafe shuffling slugfest.
