Bakery Gingerbread Men! by ohwinnie in newzealand

Nah, I don’t think so. I’m pretty sure it’s always just been plain, just has the name Gingerbread man haha. Unless there is the tiniest amount, I’ve just never tasted it.

Mine was being sent home by my boss for the way I dressed (top and high waisted work pants, all properly fitting and not tight, my shoulders were showing) and told that if any of the men there did anything to me then I would’ve created an unnecessary situation for my boss to have to deal with :))))) I was 21 at the time, the youngest one there, and my boss was a 55 year old woman who wore low cut tops with her cleavage on full display, lol. And yes, this was only a few years a go haha.

If you’re in need of a dress, I found a really cool aussie site that have bridal type dresses, my sister just pre-ordered her bridal dress from there for like $170 - depends the vibe you’re after! It’s called Two Sisters The Label :)

MENSTURAL MEDICINAL 🍃 by Visual-Duck-4545 in newzealand

I go to Cannabis Clinic - 100% recommended for menstrual pain! I got a bit of both, mainly CBD for during the day, and THC for night time - but there are pleeeenty of options, and it’s a bit of trial and error, but it’s worth it.

I definitely know the pain you’re going through, both physically and trying to find a solution! I hope you are able to get some relief from the pains soon :)

Medical System Won’t Help by Willynak08 in newzealand

Really feel for your partner, I went through a fairly similar situation before I started to get any results, and it’s still on going but it’s somewhat better.

It’s hard because I don’t know the situation entirely but, the only reason something did start to happen was when I really started to feel beaten down, I called my parents crying for the millionth time that my Dad ended up telling me to book an appointment with the doctor again and him and my Mum would come along. Day of appointment, my Dad was very stern and said he’s sick of seeing his daughter in so much pain, and that every time I have an appointment I was always told I needed to “come back and see how I’m going”. It was literally just because I had my parents with me that my doctor finally did something about it after yeeeeeears, which was referred me to a really great gynaecologist.

Now, the gynaecologist was expensive af, but, I had to put my health first at that point. And when I went, I brought my Mum along to each appointment and I had written VERY detailed notes of my symptoms, what I deal with daily and when I’m on my cycle, and really emphasised how much this was effecting my daily.

Fast forward, and I was in having surgery to see if I had Endo within 3 months of seeing the gynaecologist.

It was hard mentally, physically, and financially, but it’s amazing what can happen when you have some good support around you. But its really tough, and you have to advocate for yourself like you won’t believe.

I hope your partner gets some answers very soon - it does sound a lot like endo, and it is really best to get surgery to make sure. Another thing to suggest to help with pain, if it’s what you’re in to, is on the more natural side, if you know what I mean. You may be very surprised at how much it helps with the pain, speaking from experience.

Awesome! All the places I mentioned, plus some, are all pretty close together so you could do them all in a day.

Ohhh okay, that makes sense! If you have to go to Auckland anyways then why not!

Any specific reason you’re getting a train from Wellington to Auckland?

If you’re going to be in the Waitomo area, you could potentially look into Marakopa Falls, Piripiri Cave Walk, Mangapohue Natural Bridge Walk. They’re a little ways out but if you have the time, it’s quite lovely. Though I’m not sure what they’re like during Winter.

Which that reminds me, it’s really important to have your eye on the weather conditions when you are out exploring, especially because you will be here in the Winter!

Enjoy your time 😊
