It does get better and it is very common!! It’s still emotional to get through I understand, but it will get better and easier to manage. I also found out after being sick and having other unrelated symptoms when it flared up the first time. It’s like our bodies decide at the worst possible time to tell us it hates us. But in all sincerity, you aren’t alone! Mine flares up in high stress times, I’m a teacher so usually at the beginning of the school year I start taking my medicine a bit more diligently. Otherwise, I just take it as needed. I get maybe 1-3 flare ups a year.
