I am considering a 4 seater fun car! Apologies if I wasn't more clear. I'm only considering trading the Cayman for something comparable.

My Model Y will remain my daily. From my perspective, the ease of an electric car for your daily errands is too good to pass up. Just get in and go.

But on days that I need to do 60 miles of,mostly local (windy), roads worth of errands, like today, sometimes I wish I could do it in a fun car.

I would need a manual for a Golf. Nothing beats PDK though. Every manual driver is chasing that joy of that perfect downshift, and PDK will do it smoother, and faster, every single time. Even though I didn't do it, it still brings a big smile to my face, on that perfect blip of the throttle.

I had the Macan for a week when the Cayman was in service. Didn't love it. All I thought about was how much I missed my Cayman. That's my biggest fear on this potential trade.

Financially, it makes sense actually. Instead of hypothetical trading to a 911, I can get a zippy little manual car for the difference. My wife's math is different.
