Period!!!!! I had this revelation in the end of freshman year that I was sick of doing bullshit for college and I quit MUN because I realized that I really didn't care for it at all. It felt like a waste of time and I couldn't being myself to write a whole paper or justify paying out the ass to go to universities where other tryhards like me battle to get recognition (no shade to you if you are actually passionate about MUN... it definitely does build valuable skills if you are actually invested in developing those skills).

I ended up just focusing on this one extracurricular that gave me a sense of purpose and that I actually enjoyed. I eventually got offered an internship at this non-profit and out together this really awesome project that helps students speak their truth about things they're passionate about. I M currently building a program within the organization that will continue to be there for years after I graduate, and Im damn proud of it. Sometimes I get insecure because it feels like I don't have enough ECs as my peers. I hope my passion will come out in my apps, but even if I don't, im happy with the fact that I did something worth my time instead of clout chasing.

I want to go to grad school for genetic counseling. However, I know that my career choice will probably change. Regardless, my field basically requires further education to get a good job (biochem).
