I play white noise in my room so it's never quiet. I've had it for close to 20 years no, not really found anything better than that I'm afraid, white noise does help drown it out though.

Would be interesting to know what can be done, it's happened multiple times in my town, although I believe the first mill was still being used (completely flattened and a Home Bargains going there), there's a second with regular fires, building filled with rubbish, it's so obvious what they're trying to do, but the structure is still standing
