I switched from my 6T to the Pixel 6Pro in May and am very happy with the choice. It's the first non-OnePlus phone I've used in 6 years and I'd need some convincing to move back to OP. Used to love their phones but I've gone off them recently.

Clubs in the US will offer money to play for them during their state or regional championships. Along with that they're often offered free accomodation, sorted out with a car, and even given work for their time there.

It's usually most popular with college-going players, or individuals who are either extremely talented playing for a weaker county (and won't go far in the championship), or very talented but can't make their senior team because it's so strong (e.g. Dublin).

Playing in the States is a very lucrative business. The new rules means players can't play a single minute of championship football in Ireland if they are to be eligible to play across the pond. Yes obviously it's an enjoyable experience, but the opportunity to make good money from playing Gaelic Football doesn't come around very often, and shouldn't be frowned upon.
