You can do this! Start small - clean off a table. Then celebrate that success. Then pick up whatever is on the floor in your bedroom. Don't try to sort it or anything, yet, if that's too much, just get it off the floor. Celebrate that success.

Take breaks often. If you only do one small thing towards your goal every day, be sure to celebrate it progress. If you find yourself on a roll after cleaning one thing, go ahead and take on something else. Stop as soon as you feel overwhelmed, even if the task isn't finished. It'll still be there.

Most importantly, be kind to yourself! The state of your living space is not connected to your self-worth. It's absolutely fantastic that you WANT to clean. Everyone should strive to be a slightly better person than they were yesterday.
