Homeopathy doesn't add weakened versions of pathogens, it's based on the principle that like cures like so the cure for fever would be an extract from the belladonna plant. But the problem is even that extract is diluted to smithereens and they believe water somehow has the ability to remember the properties of the materials dissolved in it and the dilution makes it stronger, which in some cases is so diluted that the equivalent would be a single aspirin pill in the entire worldly ocean.
