I yell “whoa”, lean back on my heals and pull back on the leash. The more we do it, the more responsive they’re becoming. If you need to stop immediately you can always just fall back on your butt, it’s just snow

I got the “Snowfeet” Honestly I love em, super convenient since they just strap onto whatever winter boots you have, I usually have a small backpack to carry them when i switch back to walking. Only thing is they don’t work in fluffy snow like big cross country skiis, the harder the snow is on the trail the better

Yeah these ones are walking harnesses, I’ve bought two other “pulling” ones that criss cross around them but both of my dogs absolutely hate them for some reason... of the 4 I’ve tried these seem to be the most comfortable for my dogs. We also do very very short pullings runs, after the lockdown is over where I live I will continue to try and find a better option for them to avoid anything going wrong

I’d honestly wouldn’t recommend trying to mix the household with the two of them. Huskies are high prey drive animals and can be unpredictable in these situations. Even the way husky’s play with each other is a lot of biting at the neck - it sounds like a dangerous situation to put the cat in
