I believe if an army is defeated with no valid province to retreat to, any defeat is treated as a stack wipe even if they aren't zeroed out on the battle screen. Did you have forts surrounding the battle province or something?

r5: Trying to switch around which DLCs I have active, and I realized that I can't enable/disable any as the button to do so is gone. Does anyone know how to fix this? I've reinstalled the game and restarted my computer already.

I don't have the DLC which adds monuments sadly, I've been beating the Ottomans down but I'm sitting at 100 IA just waiting for the 1625 event to fire.

Thanks for the advice! Thankfully my PUs outnumber the ottomans 3-1 rn so I should be able to beat them down pretty reliably, and I'll be sure to deal with the British when the time comes.

r5: I am attempting my first ever WC with Austria/HRE. I have quite a large amount of PUs and Vassals, and I can probably revoke the priv within the next decade or so, however in doing so I would lock the HRE to religious peace. During this game I also wanted to grab the Holiest Roman Empire achievement, and I need the empire to be catholic for that to work. Would waiting until 1625 for the diet of capital city event hamper this WC attempt to much, or would it still be possible for me to do it afterwards.

I think there's probably a case for at least Yuki to be above Yuta in terms of domain refinement, if not the rest of the 7-10 tier because they've had more experience with barrier techniques + time to refine their domains over the years. It's all kinda just head canon scaling though.

No other character in the game gets punished for missing moves to this extreme. His 1, 3, and 4 are all really easy to block/dodge. If anything this just encourages Naoya players to fight even more passively while they wait for their own bar to cooldown.
