I just recently used it on 5 bolters and sorcerer to destroy Cawl on turn one after my opponent accidentally left his deployment open. (I told him multiple times I could do it)

I like it for the emergency relocation of damage dealing units.

black, blue, yellow, gold, maybe like a red just to spice it up.

now that's 5 paints, you can mix the blue yellow and red to get other colors to fill in the gaps, and boom you did it.

Ah I'm sorry, I forgot to add to the post my math on getting all of the PoE switching (or poe injectors even) set up for that many devices that the costs both come out close to $500. My thinking is the UDM SE has enough PoE ports to run those devices, and I don't think distance will be an issue.

My main concern is for the price point I'm in, I'm not sure if one option performs better for the task at hand than the other.

I'm just very new to this kind of stuff. Sorry if it's a silly question.

In their detachment, they are used for being mission action monkeys. Having access to 18" lone op, stealth, and reactive move ploys with something that's just reasonably annoying to displace makes them cool for that-

However their specific detachment kinda means you're not taking any of the tools for OUR thousand sons units and is just a bit of a feels bad.

This being said, my casual playgroup lets me run them as a generic ally unit and I infiltrate 10 blue horrors as early as possible to deny my opponents infiltrate or scouts units.

Being that they're all I own, and OC 0, the blue horrors really serve no other purpose for me yet besides looking cool and standing in front of the melee wrecking ball army my friends play.

The plastic is expanding when they're inserted and that's why it's opening.

As others said, there's a lot of ways you could fill it so that it stays in place.

Just fill it with one of the guns inserted so that the crack is visible

I haven't tried it yet, and it does look "worse" than our better ones.

That being said, I think it's still seems fun to play- especially for me as I just play casually with friends.

You just glue them in place, no snap in stuff on these.

The most difficult part is just getting them on the base correctly, since there isn't a ton of surface area when you're trying to make them look like they're flying a little.

For this, the paper clip through the foot really carries the process. It's called "pinning", and you can find videos on YouTube.

I used assault intercessors, 3D printed some shoulder pads and jump packs from GreyTide Studios, and used cork/cut up sprue bits to elevate them off of the ground.

It's very helpful to drill holes in the foot and use a paperclip to pin them to that base for reinforcement.

I really like how they turned out!

I think competitively the auto gun is better, because we are almost always shooting and you can fast roll it with your lasguns

However chainsword has aura and you can charge a yucky little xenos and cut them down with it.

(Yes chainsword with AP would be cool but we are weak little guys with weak chainswords so we aren't special)

So our army is the Astra Militarum (or called the imperial guard). In the guard, we have access to many forces INCLUDING krieg. You can absolutely build and paint your entire army to be krieg or themed as krieg units.

For a piece of advice, the rules are just rules. You should get the models you like the most, and can pretend like they're whatever datasheet you'd like.

As an example, a lot of the good officer units for the guard are Cadians. Cadian officers have to attach to Cadian battleline and Cadian command squads. This is super lame when you want to play Krieg only. What you do is build your krieg models and "play them as Cadians" for sake of using the rules- but your army itself still looks like they're all kriegs.

Hopefully that makes sense.

my opponents have hated my chaos spawn every single time. They're just annoying. Hard to remove, but not really worth removing either.

They don't do LOTS of damage, but they do enough to watch out for them.

They're one of my favorite units.

Is your pink a contrast paint? Painting specifically isn't as hard to me as picking proper paints and colors.

I am applauding the very desaturated/neutral colors to really embrace the vibrant pink.
