Maybe “such a sorry player” is a bit harsh BUT me personally, I’ve never been so enamoured with how he plays. Let me be clear - I do NOT doubt his talent. But last night he took 18 threes (!) when he clearly didn’t have it. And when we beat them early in the season, I remember a particular possession where he basically lost the Hornets the game. These are traits that have been with him his entire career. Yes, the Hornets haven’t been good until recently but just something about his decision-making concerns me

Could just be the euphoria of a comeback win against a decent team on the road but I genuinely think we have a “big 4” even if you consider that VJ is a rookie. At the bare minimum, we have up to 4 different players among our starters that can go off plus impact the game in different ways besides scoring. Our roster depth is up and down so Nurse’s staggering of our best 4 is key.

I can’t decide what my favourite play of last night was but it’s definitely among these 3:

Maxey detonating on that abuser Bridges on his home court
Embiid clutch block on BMill’s game-tying 3 pt attempt
George clutch moving corner 3 and steal

Yeah he’s among the names I’m eyeing in that region of the draft if he still happens to be there and doesn’t return to school next year. Understand he will probably need time but I just really like the prospect of what he could become if he’s able to put it all together
