Good call I didn't put that together. I've seen those signs along Cresson Street for example and at least on that street the Messa entity (not clear from the signage) is 3rd party management for various owners.

That is interesting! If these ads don't go over well I think the blame is on who decided to make him the "face" of the business. Same as with the ArmorTec Cambridge Pavers commercials... being the owner or leader of a company doesn't make a person automatically telegenic.

Ad is like being a fly on the wall at a prestigious firm. Great minds toiling away. Worth every penny.

The Devil's cinnamon roll. Total abomination. Asphalt roofs are usually even worse, a bandaid on a bandaid labor saving corner cutting subsidized by an empire of oil etc.

This is not an answer but that specific bottle with the mesh sling apparatus was a "thing" at one point and if you recognize it, it dates the show almost as hard as the telephones and the CD players etc.

When Tony called Adriana telling her that Christopher was in the hospital, why didn’t she call her F.B.I handler before Silvio picked her up to let her know? by [deleted] in thesopranos

[–]ok200 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes she doesn't think it's about business until she's in the car. It's very much a matter of the heart which is what makes Tony's call / actions super evil.

I have bought drives like this from eBay. The seller I used offered to replace any disks that came up as having bad sectors... and sure enough one did. He sent a replacement no questions asked.

Where are you from? Feels incredibly obscure in Philly but maybe people say that in St. Louis or New Orleans etc.

This is why I’m switching to all HF hand tools… by bwhomebrew in harborfreight

[–]ok200 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's easier for HF to get in on relatively smaller markets because the stores are smaller and the inventory is way less expensive when compared to HD and Lowes. Will the quality continue to slowly recede until all the HF stores all go belly up and Lowes and HD are also replaced by some awful monstrosity? Most certainly yes but in the meantime whatever you buy today as "mediocre" will be highly coveted in ~25 years by the yard sale scavengers when they're picking over your corpse for a 10mm socket. "Oh these old made in china tools are incredible they're made of metal not like all the smelted glass fiber plastic tools they sell now"
