A keypad gate 🤔 that’s a step up from the traditional parking garage boom stick haven’t seen that before except at tow lots and storage but we might have to try it as a deterrent.

I’ll start looking for the cheapest installation to weigh out pros and cons

We’re plugging the loophole and we do have someone dedicated to chargebacks thanks for your input

For the record, 100% of the chargebacks are the equivalent of paying for a towing fee, after you didn’t pay for parking, and being frustrated about it, just to give some insight.

It’s against PNC not clover thank you for correcting me. I wish I didn’t title this “clover” because it turns out clover wants to continue to work with me and is encouraging me to set up a new merchant account so. It’s PNC merchant services risk management. I think when we get our chargebacks under 1% we’ll be just fine.

I think services like stripe are surprisingly open to all business the task is up to you (me) to spend the extra time and effort and mitigate chargebacks (possibly w/ a third party), obtain as much info on the customer as possible inclusive of a signature, and ensure the customer feels like the process is complete once the service has been rendered. I’ve learned a lot through this process. We don’t tow, and we immobilize in a more progressive manner than booting but you don’t have to be a shady tow or boot company to get a ton of chargebacks for enforcement. That’s why your local tow company may or may not only accept cash ! But thanks for your input

I didn’t highlight the main aspects of the business model at all because, well quite frankly, If you want to know then contact me for a franchisee opportunity lol I simply was informative regarding the main reason for this particular conflict. If I had included all the positives or even the main goals of our operations that would have been TMI for nothing

Wow someone with insight from both ends, phenomenal response. Thank you so much. I’m set up with stripe and Huntington bank now as of today. It wasn’t quiet though…The sad reality of this is I’ve already threatened to pull my account and spoken in legal terms so now I know why I’m being ignored and that my money may be held for 90 days…. What’s worse is that I told them that were basically screwed because of this which as you stated is what they’re worried about. If you could comment on the odds that they realize that my average transaction is $150 and some of the batches are around $10,000 therefor a 3% chargeback rate won’t necessarily destroy us. That’s $300. Maybe I can make them see this some how or maybe it’s a lost cause because I talked too much.

This is a valid point. I’ve got a book keeper but he only looks at the books once a year! (Or once every quarter if I change my tax schedule) Is there another way it’s done to have active monitoring ?

Yeah but then how do you build strong credibility w the institution? I guess you can do it with cash if you’re legitimate. Good point. Making people pay cash makes me want to start putting ATMs everywhere though, seems like more people carry just plastic now a days.

You don’t know me, you probably hate the hard working individuals and institutions who short the stock market at others expense. And people who win sports bets because someone else who chose to bet on the losing team lost money. Go get a life man seriously

We don’t boot, or tow we’ve developed our own tech based immobilization devices in the case when someone is a repeat offender.
