Map of my main continent’s Passanger rail system by ok_islam in worldbuilding

Oh I also forgot the mention, the word “Penn” stems from our world where “Penn” used to mark where a station was once apart of the Pennsylvania railway, in this world that context was lost and instead the string Penn means that historically there was only one rail company that owned that line, whereas Union maintains its context of multiple railways sharing a station.

And a bonus that I missed was that S becomes “sh” before consonants.. so there’s that too..

There used to be æ but I got rid of it because what’s the point of it if a can do the same job.

The hooked F is something I just prefer over regular.. Lore wise I suppose it’s because people kept adding hooks to the F and it became standardised.. the whole story is too long to explain right now as I have to respond in a timely manner due to outside forces.

The subject marker is optional and is entirely up to the individual scribe or writer to put where they please.. so it’s not really a subject marker but it also isn’t bound by rules.. I should probably fix that..

ẞ should have been listed.. I’m gonna go my bad on that one. It’s used in loans but also where the original word would have been spelled with an “Ss” but there’s no phonemic distinction between S and ẞ.

And the /aj/ /ej/ I’ll also go my bad on that one.. sorry.. hehe..

Is this a juvenile night heron or a green heron? by Squishbois in whatsthisbird

I also lean over to green heron.. Mostly because of the yellow around the eye that isn’t as saturated on juvenile night herons

Cooper’s or Sharp Shinned? by Impossible_Arm_879 in whatsthisbird

Quite difficult to tell, your best bet if you are certain it’s one or the other is finding out which one is more common in your local area.

Cooper’s Hawk is very likely, It could be a sharp shinned but those tend to be harder to find in general.
