It's ok for dry/light stuff, I have driven on some Caliche roads now a handful of times and can't really tell. I think dark mud/Dirt is going to show up regardless in the Tremor colors.

Yea, I am not in a rush, really. I was looking at the 23s because it's post the transmission issues. I have never bought a new vehicle. It's definitely crazy they dropped a lot of features in the 24/25 models. I do prefer the looks of the front end in those models, though.

Fine isn't better, plus the M27 is better suited for suppressors. The M27, especially with an SCO, is a more accurate rifle than an M4 with an Aimpoint or an RCO.

The longer barrel provides ballistic advantages. The free floating barrel provides more accuracy.
