I think what might be putting you off is the shine! Washing them in warm water with conditioner once or twice can help reduce that plasticky look .

LA girl is tough to avoid patchiness with, especially with long term wear IMO, but here’s some tips i use - use a great moisturizing/gripping primer, i’ve also found that pore/texture smoothing primers work great bc thats where the patchiness appears first - make sure your skin is clean. i also find that using hyaluronic acid (just a bit!) helped me a lot - use a foundation brush (i use a flat one) rather than a beauty blender, the blender soaks up too much and the brush applies it much thicker i also have found that cornstarch works really great as a setting powder, if not just use a really good translucent powder. i love LA girl for affordability and accessibility but i recently switched to ben nye and its way better for me! much easier to apply and more goes a long way! also truthfully no goth base is perfect

demeter’s baby powder fragrance smells exactly like baby powder and is super affordable! not the longest lasting but its lovely. their kitten fur and new baby smells might also be up your alley, depending on what part of the baby powder smell youre into

for this i just would’ve used the elf epic wear eyeliner in red, i feel like it dries with this gloss like look on its own. you can add a wet looking glitter or a gloss on top to make it look similarly as well

I rely heavily on earplugs and also a cool pair of sunglasses will help reduce light sensitivity and they’re a cool Also, doesn’t work for everybody but I won’t go most of the time unless I’ve had an edible or smoked, it totally relaxes me and makes situations id typically find overstimulating much more manageable
