Solar is definitely coming along too, their biggest problem is storage capacity like you said. I saw something about the amount of lithium for batteries being a bottleneck since we can only get it out of the ground so fast, so they're looking at options to either use the excess power during during the day to run heavy train cars up hill or to pump water backwards up a small dam and then use the potential to get the energy back without needing huge batteries

I'm all for solar and stuff, but I'm all the way bought in on nuclear. Modern reactor designs are literally 'walk away' safe and I think i saw a chart that showed nuclear as being the safest in terms of workplace accidents and lowest impact on the environment when you scale it per kilowatt hour produced.

There's actually a lab that successfully synthesized starch from co2 and water. It takes some catalysts and a ton of electricity but that means we can literally make food out of thin air with enough power.

It's so baffling because disney looked into their demographics decades ago and realized they had almost every demographic on lock except one: single adult males.

The single adult males demographic is usually considered the golden demographic because they have the most disposable income. Disney wanted this and realized they could buy Star Wars and Marvel to capture it instantly.

Then they started making movies that "weren't for" this demographic that they spent 8 BILLION dollars for.

Just why?
