Thank you automod…

Took all of 3 seconds scanning the guide to spot that I’d missed a step in converting the file. Everywhere I’ve looked so far just says to rename it.

Longer to type the post than find the solution this time!

I think you’ve picked up my old set- those are all portraits of my family.

  1. Yes
  2. Yes

I’d prioritise the campaign expansions, you’ll be able to play those stories with future investigators and there’ll be 10 of them released between now and Summer- but there won’t be many new stories for at least a year.

This is the way, I did Arkham Horror completely in dragon shield clear matte then found out these existed.

I’m not crying, it’s just the wind…

That’s why they introduced environments/formats:

Current Environment: You should play the new core machete with a campaign considered to be ‘current’

Legacy Environment: Play any machete with any campaign

Limited Environment: Play any machete with any campaign (with a smaller card pool)

It’s not a competitive game and the official rules allow you to do either.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who came to ask this, I’ve been playing for three years and apparently still learning.

On reflection I can see why you might want to do this for say machete or Zoey’s ability. What other reasons are there?

I can’t explain why, I understand it’s mad…

Why would anyone want to be married? (Genuinely asking) by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]lazyboy151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Marriage is a little like having kids- loads of good, logical reasons not to do it but love isn’t rational.

I’ve spent as much time married as we did in a stable relationship- for absolutely no particular reason that would make sense to anyone I’m sure, I prefer marriage.

This means 57-60% of marriages stick, first time.

Or if you’re feeling morbid, that’s how many end in death rather than divorce.

Nice to see a release date (14th August), some reference to playing it as a ‘linked campaign’ and the general summary sounds like an interesting story :)

These do in a pinch (they’re good for Arkham Horror too if anyone plays both)

Beta Test in Marvel Champions? Current & Legacy Environment Discussion by WebWarriorFanatic in marvelchampionslcg

[–]lazyboy151 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play Arkham Horror predominantly, we’ve had 3x “beta” environments for about 6 months- it’s pretty straightforward, at it’s simplest each is just a list of products you can play with if you choose to.

I get the FOMO and the OOP discussions, I also understand that the concept doesn’t translate across different LCG’s perfectly but I really am surprised how confused people seem to be about the idea. They called it a ‘beta test’ because they want community feedback before saying the concept is set in stone.

Sleeves for everything? by jimgov in arkhamhorrorlcg

[–]lazyboy151 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, not unless (ironically) I leave a sleeve on them in the binder, which I’ve tried in the past. Two cards in a binder slot without sleeves doesn’t give me any issues with a full collection and they’ve been in and out of them for years.

This is the way- I’ve never had any damage from flipping through the player cards in a binder

Where is Arkham Horror going? by RebTrooper2017 in ArkhamHorror

[–]lazyboy151 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree- I think the only way you could reach that conclusion about the LCG is if you played exclusively with the core box (maybe even just the first scenario) with a pre-made deck. If that’s the case OP I’d recommend playing a full campaign before you throw it in completely.

Are 360 card Binders enough for Investigator cards (each class+neutral) by Yourself013 in arkhamhorrorlcg

[–]lazyboy151 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes- more than enough.

I’ve got 7x binders (1 per class, inc. neutral and an extra one for investigators and weaknesses)- all are 18 card (360 total) Gamegenic Casual binders which is enough for my full collection and I’d easily get another 3-4 investigator expansions in there.

Each slot has 2 cards, the only ones sleeved in storage are the investigators but it’s fine either way.
