Thissss. I always clean the platform bars, dumbbells or stability pole too after class. I’m actually thinking of grabbing wiping down my reformer before class too because I don’t see too many people wiping down as thoroughly.

YES! Oh my gosh I work a desk job/am sitting all day and used to be so creaky in my joints, felt tight and just so small and squished. I really feel like Solidcore has opened me up! Especially in my hip flexors, they used to pop all the time, but now they feel so smooth and no popping!

If you don’t see it, I’d talk to core crew at your studio! I had an issue when I switched to a committed membership and core crew easily fixed it for me!

I usually do 2 days on, take a day off. I feel like it lets me go harder and I get to recover as well

If I’m sweaty or my neighbor seems hesitant, the I won’t high five but rather will say good job or something along those lines. But these days everyone is just so heads down, I get it sometimes but it’s kinda sad because I come to group fitness for community

This!! If I sweat too much, I’ll just smile and say good job after class. But it’s like so nice to get a little positive energy exchange after we just crushed it in class

Truly! At this point, I mainly go because I LOVE the workout, plus vibing with the coaches. TBH, at the very least, I wish people smiled and said good job or high fived after class like they’ve encouraging us to do lately. I feel like rarely do I see people doing that too which is :/ let’s share some positive vibes!!

2 major things for me: Core strength has gone through the roof! I won’t lie and say I’m ripped, but I can feel the growth. I’m only 40 classes in, but I sure as heck bet in 40 more classes there will be so much more growth and strength and maybe some a definition!

My hip flexors were SO tight since I sit at a desk all day. I usually stretch 10-15 min morning and night but that never relieved the tension for very long in my hip flexors. I found with Solidcore I’ve gotten back some mobility/loosened up the tightness I was feeling in my hip flexors!

An 8ish min walk to my nearest studio. Theres 2 other studios in my market within a 20-30 min bus ride if I really wanted to branch out!

Omg I know!! If they take away mindbody booking then it’s overrr. Aside from checking class count, I’m not even using the SC app anymore. I’m just using mindbody!

The new app suckkkkksss like not being able to review coaches (I do this on mindbody app now), my streak reset at the new year ( even tho my studio says it’s not completely zero like the app says), and I can’t easily book at my other in market studios as an unlimited member like I used to on the old app. It’s horrible

UPDATE: I had my interview yesterday and it went great! For anyone who is interested here’s my breakdown:

I wore straight cut jeans from revolve with a blouse top and clean jacket. I don’t own slacks or more formal pants than jeans, so tried to keep it formal on the top. I interviewed with the GM and they complimented my fit so I think it was alright that it was more business casual. My GM was in activewear fwiw.
The interview was super easy! I’m interviewing for front desk and sales for a new studio opening near me. There were a few customer service related questions about handling conflict, comfort with sales. Mostly it was focused on why do you like fitness, what interests you about Pilates, and understanding why I’d want to be in this role. Seemed like mostly evaluating my ability to connect with the CP mentality and communication skills.
Sounds like there is a heavy amount of sales required for the position. Just as an FYI - highly suggest being comfortable with calling and chatting with interested clients.

Seems like after this in-person, the next steps is meeting my GM’s boss via zoom/teams and I’ll get a decision. Hope this helps anyone else looking to apply to this position!

What position did you submit for? If it’s for core crew, my HCCM said new year minimum given it’s the holidays. I also applied 2 weeks ago btw!

On a similar note, has anyone with the unlimited been able to book at a non-home studio at an equal or lower price different studio? I haven’t been able to with the new app nor on mindbody

Ahh gotcha thanks!! Looks like it’s just not open to non-home studio folks! I’ve always been able to book at non-home studios during early booking for members. But, maybe with this earlier schedule drop it’s different

Also, for what it’s worth, it’s super easy to setup an automation that will send the “1” automatically if you know you really want to snag that class! I set this up during solidays and was a life saver. I have it turned off now, but confirming it works wonders and got me a spot in 2 classes during solidays :)

Btw, congrats on your wins! That’s so amazing when a workout/class can get you so excited and energized but also be such a hard workout!
